About Us
Community Hope for Equal Services Organization (CHESO) is a national Non- governmental, non-political and not-profit women-led organization in South Sudan established in June 2016 by network of youth and women in order to response and provide emergency humanitarian services to the conflict affected people in different parts of the country.
CHESO is dedicated to provide services in WASH, education, Health and nutrition, Gender and protection and peace building activities for the sustainability of the affected population.
CHESO is legally registered with government of South Sudan under Relief and rehabilitation commission (SSRRC) with valid registration certificate with registration number 3,754.
CHESO implemented and become expertise in the field of water hygiene and sanitation (WASH), Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Health and Nutrition, Education, Gender based violence and protection women economic empowerment.

Our Main Objectives
To protect, reduce suffering and model people in South Sudan into faithful, peaceful and harmonious communities.
To transform the people in South Sudan into socio-economically cohesive, informed, resilient and secured communities with rights to equitable benefits of their efforts.
To integrate the crosscutting issues, peace building, gender, human rights, HIV / AIDS, and environment into all organizational programming in South Sudan.
To poster a community through equal services delivery at all levels.
Specific Activities
- Emergency response and management.
- Dissemination of information on peace building, gender, HIV / AIDS and environment as integral part of all its programs.
- Training of farmers in basic skills to practice farming as a business.
- Developing and adopting sectors related appropriate technologies.
- Dissemination of relevant information on inputs sources (The inputs include agro- chemicals, seeds / planting material, veterinary supplies
- Simple equipment, livestock feeds, drugs and chemicals and superior livestock breeds, fisheries inputs and bee farming equipment).
- Construction and renovation of health centres, schools and government institutions.
- Undertaking pests and diseases control and prevention to increase production of crops, livestock, fish and bee products for household food and income security
- Dissemination of information on commodity prices and profitable markets for all sector products.
- Education in emergencies provision of education packages in earlier school age children.
- Promoting VSLAs and cash transfer programming and micro- business enterprise among business idea woman in South Sudan.
- Provision of health care adequate packages in primary health Care Centre and primary Health Care units and Hospitals
- Provision of Emergency WASH Services in IDPs Centre and Communities in needed in South Sudan in affected sites.
